Shipping

Shipping is included in every print price. Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout.

Shipping destinations

Prints ship at no additional charge to:

• All 50 states and Washington, DC
• APO and FPO military addresses
• Puerto Rico and Guam

Very large sizes to APO/FPO addresses may need a quote. Please contact us before ordering one.

Checkout is not available for other destinations, including Canada and other US territories. For a shipping quote, email adam@adammartinphotography.com or use the contact form with the print and the delivery address.

Production and shipping

• Each print is made to order by our professional printing lab and shipped directly to the delivery address.
• Production and shipping together take about 2 weeks. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
• Tracking information is sent by email when the order ships.
• Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, Puerto Rico and Guam may take longer.
• The certificate of authenticity for a numbered print is mailed separately and may arrive on a different day. See Editions.

Damage and lost shipments

• A print reported damaged or defective within 14 days of delivery, with photos, qualifies for a free reprint or a full refund, at the buyer's choice.
• A shipment lost in transit is replaced with a free reprint.

Returns and damage

Every print is made to order, so returns and exchanges are not accepted for a change of mind. For help choosing a size or material, contact us before ordering.

Damaged or defective prints

Report a damaged or defective print within 14 days of delivery by emailing adam@adammartinphotography.com. Please include:

• The order number
• Photos of the print
• Photos of the packaging, if it was damaged

We will provide a free reprint or a full refund, at the buyer's choice.

Lost shipments

If a shipment is lost in transit, email the order number to adam@adammartinphotography.com. We will send a free reprint.

Numbered prints

• A replacement for a damaged, defective or lost numbered print keeps the original edition number.
• The original certificate of authenticity remains valid for the replacement.
• The buyer is asked to destroy or return the damaged copy.
• A refunded edition number is retired and never sold again.

Refunds

Refunds are processed through Stripe to the card used for payment. Banks may take several business days to show a refund.

Limited editions

Some of Adam Martin's images are offered as limited editions. This section explains how those editions are sized, numbered and certified.

Edition size

• Each limited-edition image has a stated edition size, shown on the image's page.
• The edition size is the total number of numbered prints that will be sold of that image.
• It counts every material (metal, acrylic, canvas and fine art paper) and every size of 12x18 and larger together.
• The image's page also shows how many edition numbers remain.
• There are no artist's proofs or other numbered prints beyond the stated edition size.

Open-edition 8x12 prints

• On images with a 2:3 aspect ratio, the 8x12 print is an open edition.
• Open-edition prints are not numbered, not signed and not limited in quantity, and they do not count toward the edition.
• Images with a 3:4 or 1:2 aspect ratio are not offered at 8x12, so every size of those images is numbered.

Signatures and certificates of authenticity

• Prints are shipped directly from our professional printing lab and are not signed.
• Adam Martin signs and numbers a certificate of authenticity by hand for each numbered print.
• The certificate is mailed separately to the delivery address.
• The order confirmation email shows each print's edition number.

Edition numbers, replacements and refunds

• Each edition number is sold once. When every number has been sold, the edition closes to new sales.
• A replacement for a damaged, defective or lost numbered print keeps that print's edition number and certificate.
• A refunded edition number is retired and never sold again.

Unnumbered prints and other products

• Open-edition prints, and prints of images that are not limited editions, are not numbered and have no certificate.
• The edition covers prints only. Cards, books, calendars and other products showing the same image are not part of the edition and are not counted.

Privacy Policy

Adam Martin Photography LLC (“Adam Martin Photography”, “we”, “us”) collects only the information needed to fulfill orders and answer messages. We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.

This site runs no analytics of its own and sets no tracking cookies. The map on the Explore page is provided by Mapbox. When the map loads, Mapbox collects its own usage data, such as IP address and map interactions, under Mapbox's privacy policy.

Information we collect

• Orders: name, email address, phone number and shipping address, entered on Stripe's secure checkout page. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Contact form: name, email address and message, plus company and phone number if provided. Messages are sent by email and are not stored in the site's database.

How we use information

• To make and ship orders
• To send order confirmations and shipping updates
• To keep tax and business records
• To reply to messages

Service providers

Each provider receives only the information needed for its service:

• Stripe processes payments and calculates sales tax.
• Bay Photo Lab, our printing lab, receives the buyer's name, shipping address and phone number to print and ship the order.
• Amazon SES sends the site's email, including order confirmations and contact form messages.
• Google Workspace (Gmail) hosts our email. Contact form messages and order notifications arrive there, and shipping updates and replies are sent from it.
• Cloudinary hosts and delivers the site's photographs.
• Amazon Web Services hosts the site, its order records and their backups.
• Mapbox provides the map on the Explore page.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies it needs to work. None are used for tracking or advertising.

• amp_cart stores the prints in the cart. It is set only when a print is added, and expires 30 days after the cart was last viewed or changed.
• An antiforgery cookie protects the site's forms (cart, checkout and contact) against cross-site request forgery. It is a session cookie with no expiry date.
• A temporary notice cookie carries a one-time message, such as a confirmation that a print was added to the cart, to the next page. It is removed once the message is shown.

The site encrypts the contents of all three cookies. The Explore map, provided by Mapbox, may store its own data in the browser.

Information retention

• Order records: kept as long as required for tax records.
• Edition register: for each numbered print, we permanently record the buyer's name and edition number.
• Contact form messages: not stored by the site. They remain in our email until deleted.
• Database backups: made nightly and deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Server snapshots: made daily and kept for 7 days.

Your requests

• To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, email adam@adammartinphotography.com from the address used with us, so the request can be confirmed.
• Contact form messages are deleted on request.
• Order details are removed once they are no longer needed for tax records. The edition register keeps the buyer's name and edition number for each numbered print.
• Backups are not edited. Deleted information leaves them as they expire, within 30 days.

If this policy changes, this page and its date will be updated.

Terms of Sale

These terms apply to prints purchased on this site from Adam Martin Photography LLC (“Adam Martin Photography”, “we”, “us”).

Seller

Adam Martin Photography LLC, a Washington limited liability company, sells the prints offered on this site. Contact: adam@adammartinphotography.com.

Orders and payment

• Prices are in US dollars and include shipping to the 50 states, DC, APO/FPO, Puerto Rico and Guam. See Shipping.
• Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated by Stripe at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details never reach our servers.
• An order is accepted once payment is successfully processed. A confirmation email with the order number follows.
• Every print is made to order.

Limited-edition availability

If the final available edition number is purchased by another customer before an order completes, we will email the buyer within 2 business days. We will arrange a full refund for that print, or a different size or image if the buyer prefers.

Color

Screens display color differently, so a print may differ slightly from its appearance on screen.

Returns and damage

• Returns are not accepted for a change of mind.
• A print reported damaged or defective within 14 days of delivery, with photos, qualifies for a free reprint or a full refund, at the buyer's choice.

Copyright

• All images on this site are copyrighted by Adam Martin.
• Purchasing a print conveys ownership of the print only. It grants no right to copy, reproduce or publish the image.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Adam Martin Photography LLC's liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy describes how customer information is handled.
